'Working with Wisdom and Transitions'

WYSE International is an educational leadership charity that specialises in values and leadership education.  Over the past 18 years WYSE has worked with many hundreds of young people from over 80 countries.  We are now expanding our work to meet the needs of our societies' elders who are also looking forward for ways of exploring the role of eldership in a modern world.

WYSE beleives strongly in honouring the important contribution that older people can make to the world and how their experiences can be of service to younger generations.  WYSE values the important contribution of an intergenerational approach and aims to encourage interaction between older and younger groups.

A learning community

During our programmes we all learn from each other, creating a time of inspiration, participation and mutual support with kindred spirits.  We address body, mind, emotions and spirit through experiential workshops, drawn from a combination of psychosynthesis, creative arts, and spiritual practices.  The activities create an opportunity for inner exploration while nurturing and replenishing the sources of the soul through yoga, movement, dance, discussions, meditation and singing.  It is an opportunity to share with others our passion and fun.

WYSE Elders aims to help people connect with their inspiration and vision and integrate this with the wisdom of being older.  This gathering is for men and women at transitional points of their lives, who wish to share ideas in the company of like-minded people who may want to support each other and give something back making a contribution to our world.
