Andree is a psychologist working as psychosynthesis psychotherapist for more than 30 years in her private practice. For 12 years she also taught in one of the most important University's of Sao Paulo. She is also a Bach Flowers Practitioner and Trainer. Andree loves working with people who want to grow. She loves the educational part of the WYSE Programme: supporting young people to know more about themselves, to discover their inner "wisdom", and to develop their capacity to reflect and make choices in a grounded way.
Andrew was trained as a psychologist in Australia and has a vast experience of international education and leadership development. He has acted as an international consultant for WYSE and other organisations.
Andrew has been working with WYSE as a principal trainer since 1992. Previously a Director of WYSE Australia, Andrew moved to the UK in 2002 when he was invited to oversee the overall functioning and strategic development of the international WYSE organisation.
Brian is a Psychosynthesis counsellor, therapist, clinical supervisor and trainer. He teaches at the Psychosynthesis & Education Trust in London and works both in private pracrice and for the Counselling Service at Canterbury University.
For 40 years he has lived a life of conscious spiritual search and practice. He is particularly passionate about the spiritual/transpersonal journey and finding purpose and meaning through our relationship with all forms of life
Carolyn Jennifer Askar (L.R.A.M.) holds various qualifications in educational drama, teaching and performance from the Royal Academy of Music, London University and Central School of speech and Drama. She has published six poetry collections and is also a performance poet and children’s writer, working for many years as a free-lance creative writing teacher in schools. She also trained in drama therapy and Gestalt and practiced as a private therapist. She has been involved with WYSE on and off since its inception and became a trustee in 2004.
Charles is the founder and Managing Director of The Performance Coach and is one of Europe's leading executive coaches. Charles specialises in working with chief executives and senior managers to help them and their teams deliver performance goals and personal targets. Charles has a passion for enabling leaders to develop their unique and most impactful leadership style; for helping people be more creative with their thinking; and to deliver on tough business issues that create breakthroughs in performance. Charles is deeply committed to the work of WYSE both as a staff member and trustee.
Chris initially qualified as a coach through The School of Coaching's Professional Coaching programme accredited through the University of Strathclyde. He completed his BA at the School of Oriental and African Studies, his MBA at the London Business School and his training as a coaching Supervisor through the Bath Consultancy Group. As a performance and leadership coach, Chris works with executives, boards and senior leaders. His background was initially in the British Army. He left the Army in the mid 1990s and, after completing his MBA programme, he worked for 5 years in new venture development and in a number of executive and senior management positions. Chris has worked as an executive coach for the last 9 years, coaching executives and teams and training and developing other coaches from a wide range of private and public sector organisations.
Clarence began teaching in Guyana and eventually re-settled in the UK in the early 90's. He is currently vice-principal at the first Steiner school in the UK to enter the publicly funded sector. He has organised, contributed to and run conferences, workshops and retreats on the theme of soul-based education since the late 1990s.

Daniel is an experienced international leadership facilitator, certified master coach and consultant, and founding director of The Acumen Company, an organisation specialising in organisational performance, employee engagement, leadership behavior and management effectiveness. Daniel previously worked as Head of Export for one of the world's largest multi-national manufacturers. He has a BA(hons) in international business, and Post-Graduate Diploma in strategic marketing, and has accreditations in behavioral coaching, emotional intelligence and psychology. He also speaks several European languages.
Andrea works as a professional trainer, coach and consultant with companies and third sector organizations. He has published books on the history of philosophy and essays on business ethics and social responsibility. Since 2005 Andrea has been training and facilitating teams and individuals dealing with change to enhance their performances. He also has experience as a lecturer in moral philosophy, business ethics and environmental ethics. Since 2009 he has been collaborating with WYSE International as a coach and a group facilitator. He is currently Vice-President of WYSE Italia.¬ Andrea believes that WYSE is one of the best examples of what operating and living in a learning community means. Staff and participants learn from each other and grow together appreciating one's diversity and uniqueness.
Hazel works internationally as a creative arts facilitator and transpersonal growth trainer. She enjoys weaving together her physical theatre and psychology backgrounds to facilitate the integration of mind, body and spirit, enabling us to open to our innate potential. She has been a member of the WYSE International team since 1990, and co-founded the WYSE Elders programme in 2002. Both programmes offer an inspiration and a joy to witness participants positive interaction with each other though they may come from such diverse parts of the world and here are able to find a common humanity.
Hester worked for several years as a Social Worker for residential institutions, community development and child and youth welfare work. For 6 years she has been involved in work in Rotterdam to improve educational systems and course content at primary schools.
Currently she is training to become a Psychosynthesis Psychotherapist. Since 2004 Hester has been involved in transition and personal development training in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Italy for WYSE. The programmes incorporate different psychological, philosophical, management and teambuilding techniques in order to provide a beneficial programme for the young participants involved.
Hilary Harvey works freelance in the Youth and Community sector, specializing in youth work, community engagement and project management. After an early career of management consulting with Accenture she retrained to work with young people to facilitate their self-development. She is passionate about enabling people to express more of themselves and enjoys combining this with her love for singing.
Hilary has been involved with WYSE both as a participant and a staff member.
Hugh Lee Askar has a BSc. from MIT in aeronautical engineering and worked for Boeing for four years. Subsequently he was, for 30 years, managing director of a private property development company, which also operated a group of seven hotels. He has a diploma in counseling and therapy from the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust, and has been a therapist and trustee of this organization for the past 20 years. He is currently also the chair of trustees for WYSE.
Kim has a vast experience of working engaging a diverse range of people in the process of growth and transformation. She has an established therapeutic background. She also develops vocational, personal development and educational programmes, does facilitation and group work and coaches leaders for change.
Kim's approach to training coincides with her own values in recognising the inherent potential in our human experience.
Kim loves the profound way that WYSE recognises infinite human potential. Key to this is the quality of the work, the intelligent, thoughtful approach, and working with a staff team of diverse and caring professionals. There is a unique sense of community, where real attention is paid to the quality of experience and learning.
Mariella is a Psychosynthesis counselor and trainer (WYSE facilitator since 1996, president WYSE Italia from 1997-2011). She is a teacher, author of books and articles on psychology and education and grandmother of two. At WYSE Mariella enjoys the youthful spirit, the creation of soul bonds, the unity in difference, the high standard of the teaching, the team facilitation, the honesty and sincerity of relationships, the joy and enthusiasm, the intergenerational spirit, the vision for a better future.
Marisa is an experienced coach who specialises in supporting people to build their self-esteem, transforming old patterns, and helping people take control over their lives. Marisa has a background in psychotherapy and psychosynthesis, has traveled extensively and is the proud mother of two children.
Marisa has been involved with WYSE since 1996, first as a participant, later as teaching staff. She has organised several of the International Leadership Programmes. She is passionate about WYSE's mission of empowering people to bring out their full potential and make a positive difference.
Michael currently works as a consultant for a large professional services firm. As part of the programme he works across specialisms, which gives him exposure to a variety of different industries and clients. He is currently working on a long-term project to raise awareness of sustainability issues to clients and other consultants. Michael attended his first WYSE programme in 2003, and found the experience to be very worthwhile, particularly enjoying the holistic focus placed on the individual. Michael feels that his involvement with WYSE allows him the opportunity to make a concentrated contribution to something that he feels has and will continue to have a positive global impact.
Nicki has worked in Business Consulting and People Development for over 16 years, including 6 years in outdoor development. She now runs her owns business and team of associates, where the focus is on 'pivotal change' for individuals, teams and organisations. With a degree in Psychology, specialising in group dynamics and organisational behaviour she has worked successfully with a range of sectors – from legal to not for profit.
Nicki started working on WYSE programmes in 2006 and became a trustee in 2010. She is also a trained fitness teacher, loves playing sport and relaxes by singing in a Rock Choir.
Resha Jazrawi is a psychologist with an MSc in Counseling Psychology. She has worked in primary and tertiary care, as well as in educational settings and private practice. Most recently she has worked in business psychology and is completing a further masters course in occupational psychology.
Resha has been involved in the WYSE community for 10 years and is inspired by the vision of a diverse global community and the impact of individuals' unique contributions.
Sam is trained in education and management. In addition to her work with WYSE, she is currently the Head Teacher of an inner London school where over 30 languages are spoken. Her interests in education incorporate diversity and transcultural education and she also undertakes leadership consultancies with other educational organisations.
Sam was also previously a Director of WYSE in Australia and has been a trainer for WYSE since 1994.
Sam's responsibilities for WYSE involve the overseeing of administration and finances; curriculum development and organisational development.
Sandro runs courses and seminars on Intercultural and Interpersonal Communication, Conflict Transformation and Social Mediation, Peace Education and Intercultural Development. After a degree in Philosophy, he took a PhD in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. Sandro is particularly interested in working with diverse groups, especially with youth, but also works with adults.
At WYSE, Sandro loves the deep respect for people and the ability to build harmony from groups of diverse people. Working with WYSE gives him the opportunity of meeting amazing people willing to make a positive difference and coming from all over the planet, of contributing to their empowerment, and of learning a lot for himself both as an individual and member of the global community.
Simonetta works in a hospital following the international conventions between european counties, but her main job is teaching yoga at all levels. She is also a shiatsu masseur. Simonetta first joined WYSE in 1997. Since then she has been involved in the organization and she has also attended training as an international transpersonal educator. WYSE activities allow participants to open up and express all their potential in a great way. WYSE also enables people to give their best to contribute for a better world.
